Welcome to the Home of the Saints
St. Augustine School is a Pre-K through 8th grade Catholic school in Washington, D.C., sponsored by St. Augustine Catholic Church, the mother church of black Catholics in the nation’s capital.
Founded in 1858 – four years before public education became mandatory for black children in the District – our school is accredited by the Middle States Association.
Admissions
St. Augustine Catholic School (Pre-K through 8th grade) has openings in most grades for the 2011-2012 school year. Tuition starts at $5,100 for one student, and students can pay on a quarterly, monthly or annual basis.
Strong record of high school placement at outstanding schools like Archbishop Carroll, Bishop McNamara, Elizabeth Seton, Gonzaga, St. John's, Stone Ridge and Georgetown Visitation. More than 70 percent of graduates attend Catholic high schools.
