Welcome to the Home of the Saints

St. Augustine School is a Pre-K through 8th grade Catholic school in Washington, D.C., sponsored by St. Augustine Catholic Church, the mother church of black Catholics in the nation’s capital.

Founded in 1858 – four years before public education became mandatory for black children in the District, our school is accredited by the AdvancEd.

Admissions

St. Augustine Catholic School (Pre-K through 8th grade) has openings in most grades for the 2014-2015 school year. Tuition starts at $5,300 for one student, and students can pay on a quarterly, monthly or annual basis. Strong record of high school placement at outstanding schools like Archbishop Carroll, Bishop McNamara, Elizabeth Seton, Gonzaga, St. John's, Stone Ridge and Georgetown Visitation.
