Volunteer
Opportunities
:
St. Augustine School encourages parents and friends
of the school to give their time and gifts to help develop our
students. We have particular needs for help with lunch duty, library
assistance, field trip chaperones, sport activities, senior class
activities, and room mothers.
Volunteers who would have significant contact with children
must attend the VIRTUS child protection workshop and be fingerprinted.

Volunteer Application. Please complete and submit it to St. Augustine School and then sign up to take a VIRTUS Child Protection workshop if you plan to volunteer at the school. The third step in this process is to be fingerprinted by the Archdiocese of Washington

Emergency Communications
For emergency communications (school closings, etc.) and other important announcements, you can expect to hear automated messages from St. Augustine School on the phone numbers you listed on your child's application. We work with School Reach in a service funded by the Title I program. Please know that St. Augustine School follows D.C. Public Schools for delays and closures as a result of bad weather.
